PROJECT HOMEOPATHY serves clients that are looking for natural alternatives to allopathic (conventional) medicine

ABOUT HOMEOPATHY

Homeopathy is a powerful yet gentle system of medicine based on natural laws and repeatable principles that have stood the test of time - more than 200 years’ worth. Homeopathy is the second most widely used medicine in the world. It is drug-free health care for the whole family.

Allopathic (conventional, Western) medicine techniques often simply suppress or mask symptoms, never addressing the root causes of illness. This suppression drives disease deeper and deeper into the body while lowering the vitality of the individual. Homeopathy is a complete system of medicine based on a natural law known as the law of similars, which states that a substance which can make you sick can also cure you. Homeopathy uses diluted and potentized natural substances (such as plants and minerals) to encourage the body to heal itself.

ACUTE
CONSULTATION

Acute ailments are those that are self-limiting, meaning your body will recover naturally within a 1-2 week period. A properly matched Homeopathic remedy can speed your recovery process dramatically. Examples of ailments for which an Acute Consultation is helpful include: colds, fevers, flus, headaches, GI upset, teething, childhood illnesses, as well as minor injuries and first aid.

CONSTITUTIONAL CONSULTATION

Most people begin Homeopathic treatment with Constitutional care. Whether you are looking to restore or maintain your health, a Constitutional Homeopathic Intake is a good starting point. In this 1.5-2 hour appointment, your Homeopath will do a thorough health history and investigation of your current symptoms in order to match you to a single homeopathic remedy that will best restore your health and vitality.

ONGOING
CARE

The goal of Homeopathic treatment is to provide a gentle, swift, and permanent resolution of symptoms. Yet, in today’s modern era, most people need to undergo homeopathic treatment for months or even years to achieve the highest state of health possible. Because of that, we offer service packages and subscriptions for cost savings.

CAN HOMEOPATHY HELP ME WITH MY XYZ CONDITION?

Homeopathy is used to treat any symptoms that you, the patient, may be experiencing. No matter what diagnosis you have, if you are able to describe your symptoms to your homeopath, then you can benefit from homeopathic treatment. Homeopathy is gentle enough for newborns, the elderly, and anyone in between.

IS IT OKAY IF I USE HOMEOPATHY WHILE ON MEDICATION?

Homeopathy does not interact with medications, but if you are taking prescription medications we do encourage you to stay in contact with your primary care provider while undergoing homeopathic treatment. A Homeopath is not a physician nor a substitute for a primary care provider.

HOW ARE HOMEOPATHIC REMEDIES MADE?

Homeopathic remedies are made from natural substances, such as plants and minerals. These substances are diluted and potentized in Homeopathic Pharmaciesfollowing strict guidelines outlined in the Homeopathic Pharmacopeia or the United States (HPUS). The final product is a non-toxic, powerful, yet gentle medicine.

DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?

We do not take insurance, but we are able to take payments from a Health Savings Account (HSA).

ZACHARY MCCOY, CCH

Zachary is a graduate of the 4-year program at the Northwestern Academy of Homeopathy. This program includes two years of classroom and individualized study as well as two years of supervised practice, which allows the opportunity of working with a wide array of clients. He holds the CCH credential (Certified Classical Homeopath) through the Council for Homeopathic Certification.

He graduated from the University of Minnesota with an undergraduate degree in Youth Studies, which focuses on the developmental stages of a young person individually, within their environments and socially within the lens of peer groups. In his previous career he spent a few years working with teens and adults of all ages with disabilities including autism, Asperger’s and down syndrome.

He became interested in homeopathy after receiving care himself initially for anxiety and depression and was pleased at the depth and the homeopath’s depth of understanding when talking about his symptoms and issues. His symptoms mitigated in a matter of months and his acid-reflux had disappeared, which had been present since his teens. He was on his way to pursuing a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy before switching to studying homeopathy after seeing firsthand results himself. He is passionate about homeopathy and loves to see a person truly heal.

Zachary has been practicing since 2018 and sees families, teens and adults of all ages. He currently sees clients via telehealth and occasionally in person in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.
